Martina Dirce Carcano (Milano, 1992)

Sono scenografa e illustratrice.

Lavoro da quasi dieci anni al Teatro alla Scala di Milano, ma alla carriera teatrale ho sempre affiancato quella di illustratrice.

Negli anni ho maturato una mia cifra stilistica, ma le competenze imparate dalla pittura di scen unite a quelle imparate nel mondo dell’illustrazione, mi permettono di adattare la mano in base al progetto a cui devo lavorare, sia su piccole dimensioni sia in grandi formati sui supporti più svariati.

Nell’ultimo periodo ho collaborato tra gli altri con Rizzoli, Slow Food Editore, De Agostini e Bulgari.

I am an illustrator and a scenic painter.

I have been working at La Scala Theater in Milan for almost ten years now, but I have always found ways to combine my theatrical career with my illustration work.

Over the years I have developed my personal style, and the skills learned from theatrical scene painting combined with those learned in world of illustration, allow me to adapt my approach and style based on the project I have to work on, whether it be small or very large formats and on all types of media.

I like to put together colors like flavors of ice cream and transform stories into images.

Recently, I have worked with big names like Rizzoli, Slow Food Editore, De Agostini and Bulgari.
